This business case, developed in early 2025 with the Alberta Medical Association, shares the Bridge Healing model and its early outcomes as part of Alberta’s health and housing system.
This manual reflects our early work implementing Bridge Healing, developed in mid-2024. We’re sharing it to support others exploring similar approaches and hope to release an updated version as the project continues to grow.
Prepared by Recovery Alberta and Alberta Health Services, this report shares the first-year evaluation of Bridge Healing, showing a 76% drop in emergency visits and a 69% drop in hospital stays for clients housed through Bridge Healing.
